Susan L. Banks Marler, 71, a lifelong resident of Bartlesville, Oklahoma passed away on April 13, 2020.

Susan was born on March 16, 1949 in Bartlesville, Oklahoma to parents Robert (Bob) L. Banks and Mildred (Lambeth) Banks. She graduated from Bartlesville College High School. On January 24, 1969 Susan married Jim D. Marler and the couple remained in Bartlesville. She became a homemaker to their children and volunteered at the elementary school library. During this time, Jim passed away September of 2005. Susan enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, watching the show “Survivor”, and eating chocolate! Although she enjoyed many things her most treasured times was being surrounded by her family and friends.

Susan is preceded in death by husband, Jim; parents; sister, Mary K Frohlich; and grandparents.

Susan is survived by children, Christina and Kevin Goodman, Penny Caruthers, Andy and Sheila Marler, Jimmy and Stephanie Marler; grandchildren, Blake Argo, Isaac Goodman, Samantha Marler, Jeffery Goodman, Dylan Argo, A.J. Marler, and Caiden Caruthers; one sister, Melissa Banks; sister-in-law, Brenda and Jim Killough; brother-in-law, Joe Marler; and nephew, Daniel Frohlich.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 16, 2020 from 9:00am to 8:00pm at Stumpff Funeral Home.

Graveside service will be at 2:00pm Friday, April 17, 2020 at Memorial Park Cemetery.

Due to the current COVID-19 virus outbreak, there has been a legal limit mandated for all services; for this, we ask that non-immediate family members and friends remain in their vehicles.

Services will be live-streamed on our Facebook page at 2:00 pm on Friday, April 17.
