Phylis was born on November 8, 1941, in Denver, CO to Thelma & Blackie Snapp. She graduated from Sapulpa High School in 1959. Phylis lived an incredibly full life! She not only was a loving wife, a sister and excellent mother & grandmother, but she was a teacher, a caregiver, a confidant & an avid prayer warrior for so many. To know Phylis was to really know love. She spent years volunteering in the Sooner Saddlers, she shared God's word throughout her life from being a Youth Leader, to ministering in nursing homes & hospitals, street ministry, weddings, funerals, that phone call where you needed urgent prayer in the middle of the night! Phylis really was a light in this world and if you knew her, you knew that. She loved and prayed over ALL her friends & family all the time. Her life was a full, rich & beautiful life and she is now celebrating with our Heavenly Father!
Phylis was preceded in death by both of her parents, Thelma & Blackie Snapp, her first husband Chuck Gregg, her son David Gregg and two siblings, Ronnie Snapp & Barbara Unfer.
Phylis is survived by her husband Philip Mott, her daughter Denise Bell & husband Jim Bell Jr, her granddaughters Sheridan Gouge & husband Cale Gouge, Sydney Nichols & husband Kyle Nichols, her 5 beautiful grandkids, Ivy, Letti, Chet, Axton & Declan, two younger brothers, Bob Snapp & wife Mary Lynn Snapp, Duane Snapp & wife Lee Snapp, amongst so many nieces, nephews, cousins & friends she considered to be family.
Phylis' celebration of life will be held at Stumpff Funeral Home in Bartlesville, OK on Thursday March 5, 2026, at 2pm. We invite anyone who loved Phylis to come and celebrate her life!
