Mr. Melvin Howard Hoppock, 92, of
Bartlesville, died at 3:39 P.M. on Wednesday, November 22, 2017 in
Bartlesville.
Visitation will be held at the Stumpff Funeral Home from 9 AM until 8 PM
on Thursday & Friday.
Services will be held at 1 P.M. on Saturday, December 2, 2017 at the
Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints directed by the Stumpff
Funeral Home & Crematory.
Casket escorts will include Daniel Elkins Sr., Scott Davis, David
Turnbull, Kevin Mitchell, Daniel Elkins Jr., and Steven Turnbull.
Mr. Hoppock was born at Pittsburg, Kansas on April 9, 1925 the son of
Martin and Alice K. (Legg) Hoppock. He served in the United States Navy
during World War II and spent most of his life in the Bartlesville area
where he was active in the construction business. He was a member of the
Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
Mr. Hoppock is survived by one daughter, Brenda Hoppock of Fairfax,
Virginia, seven grandchildren, David Turnbull, Ullajean Conner, Rachelle
Hoppock, Wayne Turnbull, Steven Turnbull, Sulvaine Turnbull and Onalea
Turnbull, 20 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
He was
preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Jimmie Hoppock, one son,
Delman Hoppock, and two wives, Eulah Hoppock and Sandy Hoppock.
