Jayne “Sue” Hogue, 87, went home to her Lord and Savior on April 24, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on November 13, 1937, grew up in Borger, Texas, graduated from Borger High in 1956, met Duain Hogue on a blind date, and married June 8, 1956, a month after graduation. The newlyweds moved to Stillwater, OK, where they both attended college. Duain's geology degree took them to the oil towns of Borger, Odessa, and finally Bartlesville, where they remained for the rest of their lives. Sue and Duain expanded their family during these years with three children (Jeff, Laurie, and Susan). They shared fifty-seven years together before Duain passed in 2013.

Sue was a beacon of warmth and faith, touching countless lives with her kindness and unwavering devotion to Christ. A dedicated member of the Church of Christ, Sue served the congregation and community by sharing the gift of her voice with the Philtones, who traveled the nation representing Phillips Petroleum, and for many weddings and funerals. She taught Bible classes and Vacation Bible School, volunteered with the World Bible School, and cooked innumerable meals for those in need.
Her home was filled with her easy laughter, love, the delicious aroma of her famous yeast rolls and pies, and the sound of her singing hymns as she cared for her family.
Sue is survived by her children, Jeff Hogue, Laurie (Chuck) Garrison, Susan (Bob) Brchan; grandchildren, Reid (Kimberly) Garrison, Cole (Angie) Garrison, Doss (Channing) Garrison, Grant (Dorlyne) Brchan, Sarah (Josh) Newell, Emily Brown, Erin Hogue; and great-grandchildren, Arley, Boden and Briggs Garrison, Emma and Maylee Newell, Callie, Dawson and Brooks Brown, Brynn and Maddy Brchan .
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Duain Hogue; her baby, Michael Duain Hogue; her parents, Lawrence and Jonnie Homesley; her sister, Patricia Day, and many other family members and precious friends.
Sue's legacy of love and faith will live on in all who knew her.

A celebration of Sue's life will be held at Adams Boulevard Church of Christ on Friday, May 2, at 10 a.m. with a visitation at 9:00 a.m. Officiating are Aaron Kirkpatrick and Randy Everett. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in Bartlesville. Arrangements are under the direction of Davis Family Funeral Home & Crematory - Walker Brown Chapel.
