Virginia Lee Grundy joined her husband and two sons in Heaven February 27, 2018.
Virginia was the first child born to Darb and Alma Brashear on June 2, 1923 in Nelagoney, Oklahoma.

She attended and graduated from Ramona High School in 1941. It was here that she met her future husband Floyd Lee Grundy. They were married December 29, 1945.
She retired from Phillips Petroleum Company in 1983.
She was a strong, loving Christian woman, loving daughter, sister, wife, mother and friend.

She was preceded in death by her parents Darb and Alma Brashear, her brothers Jay and George Brashear and her two sons Floyd Wayne and Duane Lee Grundy.

Virginia is survived by her daughter Diana Grundy Doyle and her husband Dr. David Doyle of Happy Valley, Oregon, daughter in law Debbie Grundy of Miami, Oklahoma, 4 grandchildren, Keenan Doyle, Kaitlin Hubbard, Joye Hood, Tech Sargent Kevin Grundy, 8 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Journey Home and to Elder Care Brighter Living Service, in care of Kearl Coke and or Linda Jarrell.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 5, 2018 at 10:30 am at Stumpff Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
