Norma Lee Godard, 89, of Bartlesville passed away at 8.30 p.m. on Sunday, April 22, 2018.

Visitation will be at 9.30 a.m. and a memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 26, 2018 at Arnold Moore & Neekamp Funeral Home, 710 S. Dewey in Bartlesville.

Interment will take place immediately following at Memorial Park Cemetery as a private family service.

Norma was born May 1, 1928 to Walter and Susie Thompson in Neodesha, KS. She graduated from Neodesha High School and attended Kansas University. She was employed by Phillips Petroleum Company in 1948 and shortly thereafter met her husband, E. J. (Beau) Godard. They married in 1950 and moved to Borger, TX. Norma was a homemaker and dedicated mother of five children. The family moved to Waco, TX and finally to Bartlesville in 1959, where they were members of St. James Catholic Church. Actively involved in the community and school activities, she also enjoyed playing bridge, golfing, reading and working at Mary-Martha Ministries.

She is survived by her children: Dr. Jim (Mary Beth) Godard of Springfield, MO; Barbara (Jeff) Allen of Budapest, Hungary; Steve (Holly) Godard of Ridgecrest, CA; and Carol (David) Woolman of Tulsa, OK, nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Beau; her son, Mike Godard and grandson, Kyle Godard. Norma was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and caring friend to many.
She will be greatly missed.

The family suggests memorials in Norma's memory be sent to Mary Martha Outreach, 1845 W. 4th St., Bartlesville, OK 74003. Arrangements are under the direction of the Arnold Moore & Neekamp Funeral Home.
