Mary Lou Fielder, went to be with our Lord & Savior Jesus Christ on May 18, 2021 at 10:28 AM.

She was born in Bartlesville on March 13, 1945 to Helen Marie (Groszek) Pikul and Chester John Pikul. She went to school in Bartlesville at St. John Catholic School, Madison Middle School and graduated from College High School in Bartlesville in 1963. She then attended Bartlesville Business College where she graduated in 1964. On February 28, 1964 she married Milton Fielder Jr. and they resided in Bartlesville. She had a passion for helping others and volunteered in many different places. One of those places being at her church (Town & Country Christian Church) where she worked in the nursery, taught Sunday School and wherever she might have been needed. Her passion early on was seamstress work and many will remember her for alterations. She worked on many wedding and bridesmaid dresses, cheer uniforms and a wide variety of others over the years. She worked many different places over the years but one of her favorite’s was Eva’s Flowers. She volunteered at the Cancer Center of Bartlesville and volunteered and served on the board of The Journey Home. She found so much love and joy in helping others which was a large part of what she passed along to her family.

Those left to cherish Mary Lou’s memory are her husband Milton Fielder Jr. of Bartlesville, her son Kevin Fielder and his wife Amy of Bentonville, Arkansas, her son Clay Fielder and his wife Mindy of Bartlesville, her grandchildren, Grant Fielder and wife Nichole, Lydia Fielder, Jade Fielder, Ira Fielder and Bryce Fielder, her sister, Theresa Hall of Tulsa, her brother and sister-in-law Mike and Kate Fielder of Chelsea and her other brother and sister-in-law Benny and Diane Fielder of Bartlesville, many nieces and nephews and their families.

Mary Lou had numerous friends and family that she loved dearly and some who have gone on that she loved so much as well.

She was preceded in death by her mother and father and her dear sister-in-law, Carolyn.

In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that you make a cash donation in Mary Lou’s memory to The Journey Home, 900 N.E. Washington Blvd., Bartlesville, Okla. 74006.

Funeral services for Mary Lou will be held at 2 P.M. on Friday, May 21, 2021 at the Town and Country Christian Church with Senior Minister Lanny Smith officiating.
