Boaz Henry Costello, a sweet 16-month-old baby boy, went to meet Jesus on Saturday, May 17, 2025.

Boaz was born January 19, 2024, in Owasso, Oklahoma, to Zachary Andrew and Jennisue Kim (Ostermeier) Costello. The youngest of four boys, little Bo had a big personality that made others smile. He looked like a mixture of all his brothers. He loved eating steak and ribs, especially sucking the fat off the ribs. Bo was ornery and enjoyed sneaking off with the remote controls, taking the batteries out and hiding them.

Boaz was a "daddy's boy" and was always the first one to greet his dad after work. He would not sit with anyone but Zac. He also loved his brothers and would crawl all over them on the couch. His brothers did not mind because they adored him. Bo loved being outside and enjoyed puzzle boxes. He also loved playing with his dogs. He was the best baby, and he was so very happy.

Boaz was baptized on February 24, 2024, at Hope Presbyterian Church. He was a non-communing member there and was definitely a favorite of all the teenage girls at the church who enjoyed playing with him and passing him around.

Boaz is survived by his loving parents, Jennisue and Zachary Costello of Bartlesville; three brothers Ezekiel, Ezra, and Zephaniah; many relatives on his mother's side of the family, including Nanna Sue Ostermeier; Uncle Pat, Aunt Trina, Uncle Ben, and many cousins; several relatives on his father's side, including PePaw Costello, MeeMaw and Larry Williams, Uncle Isaac, Aunt Kasi and Garrett, and many, many great-aunts and uncles, and an army of cousins. He was met in heaven by his great-grandparents, Henry and Virginia Paris, Papa and Nanny Costello, Nanny Jenkins, and Uncle Steve Costello.

The Costello family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, May 21, 2025, at Davis Family Funeral Home & Crematory - Walker Brown Chapel, 4201 Nowata Road, Bartlesville, OK 74006, 918-333-7665. Come and go visitation will also be held that same day from 10-8.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, May 22, 2025, at Bartlesville First Baptist Church, 405 S. Cherokee Ave., Bartlesville, OK 74003, with Pastor Peter Johnson officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in Bartlesville. Arrangements are under the direction of Davis Family Funeral Home & Crematory - Walker Brown Chapel.
