Lydia Bowles passed away Friday, January 27, 2017.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 4th in the Walker-Brown Funeral Home Chapel. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Walker-Brown Funeral Home.

Lydia Loraine Bowles was born April 8, 1937 in Vian, OK to Evelyn Bledsaw Keith. Lydia worked for many years as a stocker for WalMart in Bartlesville. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Lydia is survived by three sons: Ricky Brown, Larry Stroup, Geary Stroup. She was blessed with 12 grandchildren: Christopher Escobar, Brandy Scanlon, Jessica Pritchard, Julia Shatswell, David Bell, James Bell, Linda Spencer, April Pacheco, Jennifer Kreutner, Kenneth Stroup, Stephanie Rogers and Ricky Rogers and 23 great grandchildren: Skyler, Tiffany Ashley and Alexia Escobar, Lena Scalon, Ryder Pritchard, Amelia, Adrian, Aaliyah and Anthony Pacheco, Ashton and Ashley Bell, Kyle, Kaitlyn and Keegan Kreutner, Emily, Ricky and Aramis Rogers, Addie, Jody and Mandy Hall, Audrey amd Regan Spencer. She is also survived by her brother, Archie Sayers, numerous nieces, nephews and many friends.

Lydia was preceded in death by her mother, Evelyn Duncan, husband, Kermit Bowles, sister, Sue Duvall, brother, Sonny Sayers and granddaughter, Amanda Shatswell.
