Joann Berry, born to Ralph and Elizabeth O'Mealey in Tulsa, Oklahoma, on February 26, 1925, passed from this earthly life on Friday, November 11, 2016.

Joann was educated in Ponca City where she met the love of her life, Gene Berry. Joann served as a switchboard operator for Bell Telephone before taking on the responsibility of raising her two boys after moving to Bartlesville in 1954. After the boys were well established in school, she went to work for Dr. Joe Welch, an orthodontist in Bartlesville.

Joann was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Gene, who left us way too early back in 1980.

She is survived by her son Raymond and daughter-in-law Annabel of Norman, and her son Steven and daughter-in-law Paula of Tulsa. She is also survived by grandsons Stephen Berry (wife Candice) and Brian Berry, and granddaughter Jennifer Berry.  She has seven great grandchildren – Keely, Sarah, Mason, Wes, Raeleigh, Rylan, and Charlie.

A graveside service will be held at Memorial Park Cemetery in Bartlesville on Wednesday, November 16, 2016 at 1:00 pm. 

Services will be provided by Stumpff Funeral Home. Contributions may be made to your favorite charity in Joann's name.
