Georgine K. (Buchner) Ainsworth, 86, of Bartlesville, died at 1:25 A.M. on Sunday, July 15, 2012 at the Jane Phillips Medical Center.
A Rosary service for Mrs. Ainsworth will be held at 7 P.M. on Tuesday, July 17, 2012 in the Stumpff Funeral Home Chapel. The Funeral Mass will held at 11 A.M. on Wednesday, July 18, 2012 at the St. John Catholic Church with Father Festus Maliwa officiating. Interment will be at 10 A.M. on Friday, July 20, 2012 in the Memorial Park Cemetery directed by the Stumpff Funeral Home & Crematory.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established to the St. John Catholic Church, 715 S. Johnstone, Bartlesville, Oklahoma 74003.
Georgine K. (Buchner) Ainsworth was born July 9, 1926 in Ampfing West Germany to Georg and Maria (Bauer) Buchner. She was reared and received her education in Ampfing. She attended Business School and worked in retail. After World War II, Mrs. Ainsworth was employed at Erding Air Force Base Communication Division until 1957. She married Harry N. Ainsworth December 27, 1956 at Erding, Germany. Mrs. Ainsworth came to the United States in July of 1958. She lived with her husband and daughter at Chanute Air Force Base, Illinois, in Charleston, South Carolina, and Leon Air Base in France. After her husband's retirement in the Air Force, they moved to Bartlesville, Oklahoma.
In 1969 Mrs. Ainsworth became employed for the TG&Y Store in Pennington Hills, TG & Y Family Center and the Aim Store where she was the co-manager until her retirement in 1989. She was a member of the St. John Catholic Church.
Survivors include her daughter Beth Brewer and husband Raymond of Dewey, five grandchildren, Niki and Shawn Calonder, Dallas and Jessica Smith, Danny and Toni Brewer, John Brewer and Jennifer Martin, Carrie and Chad Brown, great grandchildren, Memphis Calonder, Alexis and Kynzie Smith, Hunter and Bayli Brewer, Cole, Lisa and Emry Brown, Katie Brewer, Jordan Nisson and Robert Brewer, sisters, Helen, Teresa, Renate all of Germany , Erna Becker of San Benita, Texas, brothers, Burl, Pepp, Sigi of Germany, numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Harry N. Ainsworth, sisters, Eda and Marie and brother Georg and grandsons, Raymond Jr. and Robert Brewer.
