Mr. Scotty Wayne Allen, 56, of Copan, died at 8:06 A.M. on Thursday, July 9, 2015 at the St. John Medical Center in Tulsa. Funeral services will be held at 10 A.M. on Tuesday, July 14, 2015 at the Bartlesville Southern Baptist Church with Chaplain Mike McDougan officiating. Interment will be in the Dewey Cemetery directed by the Stumpff Funeral Home & Crematory.
Mr. Allen was born at Lindsey, Oklahoma on December 21, 1958 the son of Frank and Joanna (Nelson) Allen. He grew up and received his education in Lindsey and was married to Crystal Jeanine Thibodeau in Oklahoma City in 1979. They made their home in Duncan, Oklahoma and Mr. Allen was employed in oil field work from 1979 until moving to Bartlesville in 1985 and later made his home in the Copan area. He was active in the trucking business for over 30 years. He loved trucking and his family and friends, especially the grandchildren. He also loved the outdoors and liked to hunt and fish, and loved his dogs.
Mr. Allen is survived by his wife Crystal of the home, two daughters, Alisha Haley and husband Robert and Amanda Mitchell and husband Morgan all of Bartlesville, seven brothers and sisters, Dennis Allen and wife Billie Jean of El Reno, Okla., Ronnie Allen and wife Cheryl of Lindsey, Okla., Judy Cudd and husband Walter of Lindsey, Okla., Vickie Stout of Duncan, Okla., Larry Allen and wife Tammy of Duncan, Okla., Donnie Allen and wife Janis of Comanche, Okla., Mary Dutton of El Reno, Okla., and four grandchildren, Mielle Haley, Emmelin Haley, Maizie Haley and Brooke Mitchell. He was preceded in death by his parents and one daughter, Amber Jo Allen at the age of five months in 1986.
