Opal B. Spencer went to be with her Lord and Savior at 6:30 am Saturday, June 4, 2016, and is rejoicing now with many loved ones.

Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 8, 2016 at the First Baptist Church in Dewey with Pastor Mark Wright officiating. Interment will be in the Dewey Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Walker-Brown Funeral Home.

Opal Bernice Spencer was born August 10, 1922 in Dewey, OK to Ode and Gertrude (Spencer) Jordan. She married Ralph Franklin Spencer on July 14, 1938 in Dewey. Opal spent her life raising her family. She also worked as a bookkeeper at the Credit Bureau, Anthony's, and also managed the accounts for the family business, Spencer Oil Company. She loved to be outdoors, raised bushels of tomatoes and loved fishing and camping but mostly spending time with her family and friends. She always wanted you to stay a few more minutes when you stopped by to visit. Her goal in life was to always take care of others.

Opal is survived by two sons; William A. Spencer and wife Sandra of Bartlesville, Tony Spencer and wife Susan of Grove and daughter, Kathy Spencer of Bartlesville, along with eight grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, eight great-great grandchildren, nephews, Ronnie Spencer, Mike Phipps, along with numerous other nieces, nephews and many friends.

Opal was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one daughter, Judith K. Levingston, sisters, Waneta Ward and Nellie Hollipeter, one half sister Ruby Truitt, a grandson, Jeff Spencer, and two nephews, Sonny Truitt and Roy Truitt.
