James Earl Smith passed away May 19, 2019 at St. Francis in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

He was born on August 3, 1962 in Los Angeles, California to his father Paul Ralph and Doris Elaine (Burns) Smith. James married Judy Lynn Fairchild on June 6, 1991. He enjoyed fishing, family gatherings, music and woodcarving.

James is survived by his mother; Doris Elaine Smith, 3 daughters; Aletha Carman, Jessica Wickham, and Jennifer Auten. 3 sons; James Fairchild, Justin Fairchild, and Jeff Fairchild. 4 brothers; Paul Ralph Jr, Mike, Robert, and Drew Smith, 1 sister; Tina Valentine. 9 grandchildren; Josh, Corie, Taylor, Megan, Logen, Jacob, Tommy, Jerrick, and Gracelynn.

He was proceeded in death by his wife; Judy Smith, father; Paul Ralph Smith, grandparents; Luther Burns and Ella Mae.

Formal visitation will be 10 A.M. to 8 P.M. on Wednesday May 22, 2019 and Thursday May 23, 2019 at Stumpff Funeral Home.

Private family services will be held at a later date.
