Betty Jo Peterson, 85, of Bartlesville, died at 8:35 P.M. on Thursday, July 11, 2019 at the Journey Home in Bartlesville, Oklahoma.

Graveside services are scheduled for 2:00p.m. Thursday July 18, 2019 in the Dewey Cemetery with Rev. Thomas Ballard officiating.

Mrs. Peterson was born in Braggs, Oklahoma on May 1, 1934 the daughter of Riley Blair and Mary (McMillian) Blair. She grew up and received her associate degree. Betty enjoyed cooking, camping, rodeo???s, and going to her grandchildren???s sporting events. The last several years she liked hanging out with her dog Buddy. Dinners with her family was it above all else.

She is survived by 2 sons, Mike and his wife Susan Peterson of Bartlesville, and DeLee and his wife Andra Peterson of Bartlesville, 1 daughter, Donna Jo and her husband Mike Woods, four grandchildren, Terry Woods, Kaitlin Peterson, Brody Peterson, and Dillon Woods, 1 great grandchild, Elaine Woods, numerous nieces, nephews, host of friends and extended family.

Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Garland Peterson, parents, Riley and Mary Blair, four brothers, two sisters, and one grandson, Cordell Peterson.

Arrangements are under the direction of Stumpff Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers the family has asked for donations to be sent to The Journey Home in Bartlesville, Oklahoma.
