Louise Ella (Hanna) Moreland, 86, went home to be with Jesus on January 11, 2020. She passed away at Brookdale Bartlesville North following a brief battle with cancer.

Celebration of Life Memorial Service for Louise will be held at Word of Truth Fellowship on January 17 at 1:30pm, 16097 NE Bison Road, Bartlesville, Oklahoma, 74006, with Rev. Jim Anderson officiating.

Interment will be at in the Dewey Cemetery.

Louise was born to Lucy M. (Burkart) Hanna and Walter Hanna on September 8, 1933 in Dewey, Oklahoma. She was the eldest daughter of Walter and Lucy Hanna. Louise lived and attended school in Dewey and Bartlesville.

Vernon and Louise Moreland were married in the Spring of 1954 and made their home over the next several years in Bartlesville, Dewey and Nowata, respectively. Louise was employed with First National Bank (later known as WestStar Bank) for over thirty years. She retired from WestStar Bank in November of 1990 to pursue her dream job of full-time grandmother. Louise enjoyed cooking, reading and spending time with her family. She especially enjoyed spoiling her grandchildren and great-grandson. She was married to the love of her life for 65 years. Louise was known for being warm-hearted, caring, and devoted to her family. One time, she even agreed to cook a gar fish because her grandsons were curious how it would taste. She loved hosting family on the Moreland Farm, especially for the Fourth of July.

Louise is survived by her husband, Vernon L. Moreland of Bartlesville, Oklahoma; daughter, Laresa R. (Moreland) Collins of Bartlesville, Oklahoma; brother J R Mosier and wife Patti of Bartlesville, Oklahoma; grandsons, Adam M. Collins and wife Bethany of Princeton, New Jersey, and Nathan P. Collins of Bartlesville, Oklahoma; great-grandson Talon A. Collins of Bartlesville, Oklahoma; dear family friend, Sam W. Collins of Tyro, Kansas; very special niece, Brenda K. Hanna of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, brother-in law Dale K. Hays of Bartlesville, Oklahoma; sisters-in law Marilyn Hanna and Lorri Hanna, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother and sister-in-law, Earl and Carlene Hanna; sister, Darlene V. Hays; brothers, Jerry D. Hanna, Sr. and John H. Hanna; and beloved niece, Tonya R. Mosier.

A Graveside service will be held at 11:00am Friday, January 17th, 2020 at the Dewey Cemetery with Reverend Jim Anderson officiating.
