Terry Steven Stotts, 73, of Prue, Oklahoma, passed away on Wednesday, January 22, 2025, in Bartlesville.

Terry was born November 19, 1951, in Independence, Kansas, to Doyle Stephen and Geraldine (Hastings) Stotts. He attended Pawhuska High School and then worked a variety of jobs, including in the oilfield. He soon began training in HVAC and then became licensed. Terry worked as an HVAC mechanical contractor in hospitals and other commercial facilities until his retirement in 2003.

Terry met the love of his life, Kathy Gertrude Lickliter, in 1969, when they were both in their teenage years. Five years later, on April 9, 1976, they married in Lawton and then established their home in Hominy, where they stayed until 1991. The couple then moved to Tulsa, then Mannford, Oklahoma. In 2005, Terry and Kathy moved to Prue, Oklahoma, to be near family and have lived there ever since that time.

In his younger years, Terry enjoyed tennis, bowling, running, and boxing. He was very athletic. He enjoyed leatherwork, reading, and playing games on his phone. One of his favorite pastimes was gardening.

Terry was a huge jokester and kept people laughing. He loved animals, especially his pet dogs, cats, and birds. Terry loved his chickens and treated them like his pets.

Survivors include his loving wife of 48 years, Kathy; two daughters, Carla Burrow and husband Wesley, and Lisa Stotts; siblings, Gary Stotts and Dana Tiller; 13 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from noon to 5 p.m. Sunday, January 26, 2025, at Davis Family Funeral Home - Dewey Chapel, 113 S. Osage Ave., Dewey, OK 74029, 918-534-3030.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, January 27, 2025, at Davis Family Funeral Home - Dewey Chapel with Bishop Jess Stephens officiating. Inurnment will be at Dewey Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Carter Davis and Davis Family Funeral Home - Dewey Chapel. Online condolences and remembrances may be shared at www.DavisFamilyFuneralHome.com.
