Kathy Marie Oliver
December 26, 1956 - May 21, 2025

Kathy Marie Oliver, 68, of Dewey, passed away peacefully on Wednesday at The Journey Home.

Kathy was born December 26, 1956, in Bartlesville, Oklahoma, to Ross and Marie (Meade) Hill. She attended Bartlesville Public Schools, graduating in 1977 from College High School. She met the love of her life, William "Bill" Max Oliver, on May 13, 1977, through friends. He took her for a motorcycle ride to Cushing, and they were inseparable ever since.

The couple married on August 2, 1980, at Bartlesville Southern Baptist Church. Kathy and Bill's son, Skyler, has an interesting birth story, as he was born in a water tub in their kitchen with a midwife present. Kathy was an intelligent woman and owned a few businesses throughout her working life. She started out with a house cleaning business and then branched out into a beauty salon/exercise spa. She later opened a successful tax service business, which she later sold for five times the amount she initially invested in it. Lastly, she did the accounting work for her husband's business, AirMaster, in Bartlesville.

Kathy's hobbies included stained glass, collecting antiques, drawing, and, of course, riding on the back of Bill's motorcycle. She could even fall asleep riding with him. She and Bill were members of Faith Riders and of Bartlesville Southern Baptist Church. Kathy had served as Sunday School teacher there for some time, before her health became more of a problem for her. She endured Multiple Sclerosis for about 30 years, which gradually affected her day-to-day activities.

Survivors include her husband of 44 years, William "Bill" Max Oliver; and son, Skyler William Ross Oliver. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ross and Marie Hill; and a sister, Sandra Hill.

Visitation will be held from 10-8 Tuesday, May 27, 2025, at Davis Family Funeral Home - Dewey Chapel, 113 S. Osage Ave., Dewey, OK 74029, 918-534-3030.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 28, 2025, at Davis Family Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Dewey Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Davis Family Funeral Home - Dewey Chapel. Online condolences and remembrances may be shared at www.DavisFamilyFuneralHome.com.
