Charles Thomas Kemerling, of Bartlesville, Oklahoma died on May 11, 2020 at the age of 92.

He was born on April 11, 1928 in Barnsdall, Oklahoma to Josephine Gaddis Kemerling and Charles Arthur Kemerling. He received his bachelor’s degree from Central State College, now known as the University of Central Oklahoma, located in Edmond, and went on to become an accounting supervisor for Occidental Petroleum. Charles married Berna Deen Briggs on November 3, 1951. Aside from spending time with his family, he enjoyed playing golf, fishing, and gardening.

Charles is proceeded in death by his son, Stephen Charles Kemerling.

He is survived by his wife Berna Deen Kemerling, sons Glen Kemerling and his wife Shirley, and Scott Kemerling, daughter Julie West and her husband Scott, brothers Jerry Kemerling and Jim Kemerling, sister Elaine Miller, grandchildren Jamie Clinesmith, Tyler Kemerling, John West, Jill West and Stephen West, great-grandchildren Jobe and Sadie Clinesmith.

Visitation will be held from 5:00-8:00 pm on Thursday, May 14th, 2020.

A Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, May 15th, 2020 at Dewey Cemetery.
