Randy Hank Hewitt, 63 passed away Saturday, May 02, 2020 following a sudden short battle fought fiercely and bravely against a very rare and aggressive form of cancer.

Randy was born to Ernie and Nina Hewitt on November 4th, 1956 in Nowata, Oklahoma. Randy became a big brother in 1961 to Gene. From childhood, Randy was an extremely hardworking, dedicated, and driven boy. These traits strengthened robustly as he grew older. Randy had a great love for ball and was an incredible athlete with many trophies collected during his young adult years. Randy, from a young age, was a very talented fiddle player and enjoyed gathering with friends and family over the years to pick and play. He loved to travel, and traveled the US for work. Randy was always full of sarcasm, quick wit, and a good laugh.
Randy Graduated from Col-Hi in Bartlesville, Oklahoma in 1975 and Bartlesville Wesleyan College in 1982. Randy married Cathie Clopp and had 2 children, daughter Emily and son Tyler. Later in life, Randy met Rhonda Fackler and was honored to step into the role of father to her son, Patrick Paul. Randy has 3 grandchildren, Talyn, Shelby and Charlotte. Randy was an extremely proud father and ""BoBo"" who loved his children and grandchildren whole heartedly.

Randy will be joining many close family members and friends, including his Mother Nina, in his eternal home.

Waiting to meet up with Randy again are his children, Emily Branch, husband Wade and daughters Talyn and Shelby; Tyler Hewitt; Patrick Paul, wife Jennifer and daughter Charlotte; brother Gene Hewitt, wife Jan and son Jared; father Ernie Hewitt, wife Peggy and a multitude of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and close friends.

Family will receive guests at Stumpff’s Funeral Home Thursday, May 7th from 6pm-8pm.

Randy’s family and friends will be celebrating and honoring his life Friday, May 8th, 2:00 pm at reNew Church in Dewey, Oklahoma followed by a graveside service both officiated by his brother, Gene. Talyn, Randy’s Grandaughter has requested attendees wear bright colors to her BoBo’s event please.

Following these services, family members are invited to return to reNew for an early dinner and live music generously provided by the “Let It Ride” Band. Family members: Please bring your lawn chairs, dinner will be provided.
