With deep love and unwavering hope in Christ, we announce that Teresa Ann Johnson, 56, of Bartlesville, gained her angel wings on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, surrounded by family.

Teresa was born on October 6, 1969, in Wichita, Kansas, to Gary Thomas Wheeler and Juanita Doris (Williamson) Wheeler. She graduated from Wichita East High School in 1988 and later attended York Christian College, where she met her best friend and soulmate, Troy Scott Johnson, at a Greek feast in August 1988. Teresa and Troy were married on June 16, 1990, in Wichita, Kansas, and cherished their simple date nights of Pizza Hut breadsticks and dollar-theater movies. In 2000, they moved to Bartlesville and became members of the Dewey Church of Christ.

Teresa was a devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, friend, and coworker. Over the years she held several jobs - including working in a pharmacy during high school and at FedEx - but her greatest joy came from her years as a school bus driver. She was deeply dedicated to her work, loved the children she transported, and cherished the friendships she formed with her fellow drivers.

Teresa had a gift for creating a warm and welcoming home. She was a garage-sale queen with an eye for quality treasures, a thrifting and couponing enthusiast, and a talented home decorator. Her family especially loved her cooking - favorites including chili, beans, and lasagna. She also had a green thumb and filled her home with thriving houseplants.

Above all, Teresa loved like Jesus. She had a servant's heart, a gentle spirit, and a presence that made others feel cared for. Her family is comforted knowing she is now healthy and whole in the arms of her Savior.

Teresa was preceded in death by her father, Gary Thomas Wheeler.

She is survived by her loving husband of 36 years, Troy Scott Johnson; her three children, Nathan Johnson (Mackenzie), Courtney Monday (Chance), and Tildon Johnson (Hailey); one grandchild on the way, Charlotte Monday; her mother, Juanita Doris (Williamson) Wheeler; her siblings, Leslie Anderson (Devin), Robert Wheeler (Jayme), and Sarah Ralstin (Allen); and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who loved her dearly.

Visitation will be held from noon-5 p.m. Sunday, April 5, 2026, at Davis Family Funeral Home - Dewey Chapel, 113 S. Osage Ave., Dewey, OK 74029, 918-534-3030.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, April 6, 2026, at Dewey Church of Christ with Mr. Chris Watts officiating. Burial will follow at Dewey Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Davis Family Funeral Home - Dewey Chapel. Online condolences and memories may be shared at www.DavisFamilyFuneralHome.com.
