Mrs. Phyllis Sue Jacobs
October 10, 1942 - June 12, 2012

Phyllis Sue Jacobs, 69 of Dewey, was received home by her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, June 12. She lived her final days peacefully in her home surrounded by loved ones.

Phyllis was born on October 10, 1942, in Bartlesville to Robert Joseph Hill and Freda Marie Hill. Phyllis attended Dewey schools. Family and friends were her passion and joy. She retired from ConocoPhillips after 19 years of service and many co-workers-turned-friends.

She is survived by her sister Sharlene Sanders, two daughters Shelley Brinkman and Vicki Jacobs, and son Charles Jacobs.

She is also survived by seven grandchildren: Jessica Maddox, Sara Bellmyer, Kara Phelps, Prudence Jacobs, Wade Branch, Justin Branch and Ethan Branch; as well as three great-grandchildren Taelynn Maddox, Talyn Branch and Bentley Branch; three nephews Steven Sanders, Robert Sanders and Terry Hinman, two nieces Susan Teenor and Kristy Sanders; and several great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Donald Paul Hinman, as well as cherished grandparents, aunts and uncles.

Phyllis's family wishes to extend their gratitude to River Cross Hospice staff for their support in her final days.

The family will receive friends at the Davis Family Funeral Home, (918-534-3030), 113 S. Osage (Hwy. 75), Dewey, on Thursday, June 14, 2012, from 6-8 p.m. General visitation will be Thursday, 9 a.m.-8 p.m.

Funeral services for Mrs. Jacobs will be held Friday, June 15, 2012, at 2 p.m. in the Dewey First Baptist Church. Arrangements are under the direction of the Davis Family Funeral Home. Online condolences may be left at www.DavisFamilyFuneralHome.com.
