DeeAnna Jo Hawkins, 60, of Copan, passed away on Tuesday, March 11, 2025, in Bartlesville.

DeeAnna was born October 11, 1964, in Bartlesville, to Charlotte Jean (Williams) and Henry “Joe” Johnson Jr. She gained a love of sports in her younger years, playing softball and basketball. DeeAnna graduated from Dewey High School with the Class of 1983. After graduation, she started her family with her two boys, Isaiah and Gabriel. DeeAnna stayed home with her boys until they were in middle school. She then went to work for various short-term jobs until she found her job as an optical receptionist for Dr. Lindgren Ophthalmology, where she worked until 2009.

DeeAnna married David Hawkins in 2009 before moving to Florida and then on to South Carolina. The couple enjoyed spending time together and going on walks.

She nervously watched her sons play football, fearing they may get hurt. She may not have understood football, but she watched all the games. She also enjoyed watching her son's basketball games. She always loved hearing stories about her grandchildren's antics.

DeeAnna's hobbies included reading and watching crime shows. She loved watching college basketball and pro baseball, especially the Cardinals.

DeeAnna is survived by her loving husband, David Hawkins of South Carolina; two sons, Isaiah Nicley and wife Jaycee, and Gabriel Nicley; siblings, Danny Johnson and wife Crystal, Tammy Johnson, and Larry Johnson and wife Dixie; three grandchildren, Joseph, Elizabeth, and Isabell.

DeeAnna's family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Monday, March 17, 2025, at Davis Family Funeral Home - Dewey Chapel, 113 S. Osage Ave., Dewey, OK 74029, 918-534-3030. Visitation will also be held from 10-8 Monday and 9-12 Tuesday.

Graveside funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 18, 2025, at Dewey Cemetery with Reverend Randy Little officiating. Services are under the direction of Carter Davis and Davis Family Funeral Home - Dewey Chapel. Online condolences and remembrances may be shared at www.DavisFamilyFuneralHome.com.
