Thursday, September 2, 2021, surrounded by family at her bedside, angels arrived to escort Angela ‘Angie’ Marie Ellis, 52, of Bartlesville, to our Lord Jesus Christ.

Angie was born December 10, 1968 to Chuck and the late Anna Marie Ellis in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. She received her education in the Bartlesville school system and later earned her C.N.A. She was a caregiver to the late Joe Wohlford and many others. Her heart was both caring and loving, gaining friends throughout her life. Her proudest moments were the birth of her two sons and watching them grow into the men they have become. She could never pass an opportunity to assist those she cared so deeply about. Her children, grandchildren, and Jesus Christ brought a constant joy to her life. Angie’s love and devotion to both family and friends will be forever-cherished memories.

Angie is survived by her ‘daddy’, Chuck Ellis and her ‘mom’, Ruby Ellis of Dewey, Oklahoma; ‘The love of her life’, Ron Wohlford of Ochelata Oklahoma; children, Clifford ‘Cliff’ Watson of Bartlesville, Joshua ‘Josh’ Watson and wife Staci of Joplin Missouri, Kaylia Wilson, Whitney Wilson, Kendall Catlin and husband Will, Reona Holderman, and Lindsay Wohlford; grandchildren, Zander, Jacob, Rhealee, Carter, Maverick, Carl, Tyler, and Austin. Nora is expected to arrive in October 2021 and her great-grandson Ryker is due in December 2021.

She is also survived by her sisters, Regina Boatright (Russell Waymack) of Rogers Arkansas, Denise Ellis of Mustang Oklahoma, Jona Johnson (Cliff Johnson) and Danielle ‘Charlie’ Argo; uncles, David Miller (Janice), Bill Crabtree, Dee Tuttle, and John Tuttle; aunts, Patricia Walker, Katheryn ‘Faye’ Sanders (Kenneth), Anna Marie ‘Aunt Shorty’, Ellis, Nancy Ellis, and Sonia Brown (James), Bonnie Bates, and Delora Snook (James); nieces and nephew, Summer (Jon), Autumn ‘Hope’ (H.J.), Heaven, Tristen, Kendra, Brady, Blake, Kameron, Shane, Brandon, Angel, Tamra; and great-nephew, Vincent.

Others making this journey so they could meet her at the gates of heaven were: Her greatly missed ‘momma’, Anna Marie Ellis and step-father Albert Vail; cherished grandparents, Ethel Ellis Franks, William Ellis, Eugene Franks, Nada Miller Earlywine, Jack Miller, and step grandmother Cora Miller; uncles, Donald and wife Joann Ellis, James’ Jimmy’ Ellis, William ‘Billy’ Ellis, Gene Walker, James ‘Jim’ Miller, Bertha Olson; and her niece, Amber Greenway; and Joe Wohlford. Angie’s family members number over 350. Each member holds a memory and smile that will remain for a lifetime. Pallbearers are Terry Sanders, Brian Sanders, Glenn Sanders, Ron Wohlford, Rick Wohlford, and Jim Scott. Honorary pallbearers are Tristen Prentice, Blake Prentice, Brady Prentice, William Woehr, Jeremy Sanders, Shane Johnson, and Brandon Johnson.

The family would like to invite you to join us at the Davis Family Funeral Home & Crematory – Walker Brown Chapel, 918-333-7665, 4201 Nowata Rd. (Hwy. 60), Bartlesville, on Thursday, from 6-8 p.m. for visitation and the sharing of the stories of Angie’s life.

Visitation will also be held on Thursday from 10-8 and Friday 9-11.

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. on Friday, at the Fountain of Life Tabernacle, 1412 N Choctaw, Dewey, OK, with Pastor James Haynes and cousin Gary Smith officiating.

Interment will follow in the Dewey Cemetery.

The family will then return to the Fountain of Life Tabernacle for lunch. Services are under the direction of Carter Davis and the Davis Family Funeral Home & Crematory – Walker Brown Chapel.
