Surrounded by her family at 3:00 pm on Monday, October 15, 2018, God lifted Vonette "Sue" Donlay, 70 years young, into the peaceful paradise of life everlasting. She was warmly embraced at the Heavenly Gates by her parents, Ella Mae (Haywood) and Haskel Governor Gilmore and oldest brother, Haskel Jr.

Sue was born the youngest of seven siblings on April 10, 1948. She attended Dewey Elementary and High School, where she graduated in 1966. After attending college, Sue worked for ConocoPhillips until her retirement in 2015. Sue married Larry Donlay on March 17, 1975, and the couple made their home in Ochelata with their five children which include two sons, Shawn Robert Donlay and William Shane Peugh; three daughters, Shantana Sue Nelson, Stephanie Jean Donlay and Salena Dion Donlay.

Sue is survived by her five children, daughter-in-law Kathie Peugh, 19 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, and her siblings Charles Gilmore of Dewey, Floyd Gilmore of Texas, Curt Gilmore of Claremore, John Gilmore of Dewey and sister, Ethel Damron of Bartlesville.

A Catholic Memorial Service will be at 2 pm, Monday, October 22, 2018 at St. John's Catholic Church in Bartlesville. Following the service, Sue will be laid to rest alongside her beloved parents in Dewey Cemetery, under the direction of Stumpff Funeral Home.

Visitation will be at Stumpff Funeral Home between the hours of 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. Saturday, October 20th and Sunday, October 21st.
