Ralph
Coy passed from this life to his eternal life on
June 5, 2016, in Dewey, Oklahoma. Services will be
held Friday at 11:00 AM at Bartlesville First
Wesleyan Church with Reverend Rene Colaw
officiating.
Interment will be in the Dewey
Cemetery.
Ralph Eli Coy was born November 27, 1930, in Clay
Center, KS, the first child of William Franklin Coy
and Ruth Hammond Coy. He had many different
vocations throughout his life, but considered
himself first and foremost to be a pastor. He had
many interests including swimming, sailing, math
games and puzzles, story telling, traveling,
gardening, and reading. He loved teaching the Bible
and lived what he taught. He was well known for his
positive attitude and always wearing a smile. He
never spoke ill of anyone and was quick to help
anyone in need.
Ralph is survived by daughters Vonnie Schmidt and
husband Rick of Weatherford, OK, Vilene Horton and
husband Craig of Waynesboro, VA, daughter-in-law,
Marie Brown of Stillwater, OK, stepdaughter Patsy
Barber and husband Jerry of Bartlesville, OK, 7
grandchildren, 4 step grandchildren, 7 great
grandchildren, 5 step great grandchildren, and many
other family and friends.
He was preceded in death
by his parents, two wives, Caroline Mueller Coy and
Mona Grigsby Coy, son, Chad Coy, stepson, DeWayne,
grandson, Cameron Horton, sister, Opal Fitzgerald,
and brother, Carl Coy.
The family will be receiving
friends Thursday from 6 to 8 PM at Walker Brown
