BARTLESVILLE, WASHINGTON CO, OK
(permission granted)

Peggy (Clark) Allgood, 81, a long term resident of the Bartlesville area died Friday, January 5th at the Meadowbrook Nursing Home in Chouteau, Ok. Her remains will be laid to rest with her beloved parents at a private service in the Dewey Cemetery.

Peggy was born on May 6th, 1936 to Pharis and Beulah Clark in Cassville, MO. They moved to Miami, Ok. where she completed High School in 1954. Peggy then moved to Klamath Falls, OR. to pursue her Associates Degree in a Business Education program. She returned to Oklahoma and married on December 4th, 1955. She gave birth to the 3-D's-Donna, Donnie, and Doug-all were born in Bartlesville and primarily raised in the Bartlesville area.
Over the years, Peggy worked in a variety of jobs-primarily as a waitress. She worked as a breakfast waitress at the old Holiday Inn on Washington Blvd. for several years-a job that provided income for a single mother - working the best that she could to provide for her family. She later worked in Home Healthcare as a caregiver to the elderly.
In 2011, Peggy moved to Chouteau, Ok. to be closer to her daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Wade Smith who acted as her caregivers over the last several years-attending to Peggy's physical and medical needs and advocating for Peggy in every way possible. Most important, they made her part of their lives EVERYDAY.

In addition to Donna and Wade, Peggy is survived by 2 sons and their spouses-Donnie and Diane Allgood of Bixby, Ok. and Doug Allgood and Herb Jimenez of Dallas, TX. She is survived by a sister and brother-in-law, Dorothy and Oscar Osdickenberg of Claremore, Ok. Peggy is also survived by James Fehlen of Florence, OR., a special friend who she dated in Oregon in 1954 who sought her out many years later. James stayed in close touch with Peggy over the past several years, checking in on her often and coming to visit her several times. His devotion and relationship with Peggy was an inspiration to Peggy's family. Peggy leaves behind 5 Grandchildren and 9 Great Grandchildren. Peggy is a part of ALL of those who survive her…forever.

Her journey was often a difficult one, but for her Family, it is one that we celebrate because of the Life that she gave us all.
