Connie Elaine Fletcher
December 31, 1951 - December 21, 2025
Connie Elaine Fletcher, a resident of Dewey, Oklahoma, for the past three years and a lifelong member of the Bartlesville community, passed away at the age of 73. Connie was born on December 31, 1951, in Bartlesville, Oklahoma, to John Albert Pope and Martha Madelene (Scullawl) Pope. She attended school for cosmetology and dedicated much of her life to her family as a devoted stay-at-home mother.
On March 30, 1973, she married the love of her life, Allen Leon Fletcher. Connie was a longtime resident of Oak Park Village, where she and Allen raised their two children and built many lasting memories. Connie was a woman of immense resilience and a breast cancer survivor, a milestone that stood as a testament to her strength. Her faith was the cornerstone of her life, and she was deeply involved in her church community. She took great pride in her Cherokee heritage, frequently attending powwows, and was a dedicated fan of Elvis Presley. Connie also enjoyed the simple joys of life, such as shopping, going out to eat, and participating in local 3K runs. Above all else, her greatest joy was the time she spent with her family.
Connie was preceded in death by her mother, Martha Pope; her husband, Allen Fletcher; and her sister, Sherry Bailey.
She is survived by her father, John Pope; her son, John Fletcher and his wife Tabitha Rayl; her daughter, Amber McHenry and her husband Dale McHenry; and her granddaughter, Bianca Fletcher. She also leaves behind her brother, Steve Pope; her sisters, Brenda Mathes and Ila Witt; and many beloved nieces and nephews.
She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
