William H. Cummins Jr.

William (Bill) Henderson Cummins, Jr. passed away on August 21, 2026 in Broken Arrow, Ok. at the age of 93.
Bill was born on October 18, 1932 to William Henderson Cummins, Sr. and Mattie Fox Cummins. Bill was raised and attended school in Copan, Ok where he graduated with the Copan Hornets class of 1950. After graduation Bill served as a meteorologist in the US Army.
In 1957 he married Sue Hacker of Dewey, Ok. They were blessed with 2 sons, Gary William and Terry Dean. Bill and Sue lived at the 2 mile corner their entire married life. They were faithful attendees of the Church of the Nazarene and the Church of God in Dewey.
After serving his country Bill was employed at TRW Reda Pump until his retirement in 1994. After retiring he and Sue enjoyed many trips across the US and Europe.
Bill had many friends and seemed to know everyone in town. Bills family was his world and he loved each one very much.
Bill is survived by sons, Gary and wife Leann of Owasso, Ok and Terry Cummins of Fort Worth, TX.; three grandchilren Peyton Cummins of Del Mar, California; Noah Cummins and spouse Thomas Carney of Charlotte, NC; Dylan Cummins and spouse Trey Romero of Fort Worth, TX; two great-granddaughters Knox and Ozzy Romero of Fort Worth, TX. Bill was proceeded in death by his wife, Sue; one grandson, Christopher Cummins; eight brothers and 3 sisters.
A family visitation will be held Wednesday evening from 5-7pm at Stumpff Funeral Home in Bartlesville. Funeral services will be held at 11am Thursday at the First Church of God in Dewey. Interment will follow at the Dewey Cemetery.
