Norma Ruth Ames
June 17, 1940 - March 7, 2026

Norma devoted her career to caring for others. She earned her Nursing degree and worked as a Registered Nurse at Jane Phillips Hospital in Bartlesville, where she served patients and their families with dedication and kindness.

On April 17, 1976, she married Oscar Lenard Ames, Sr., and the two shared many years together until his passing.

Norma enjoyed spending her free time lace making and quilting, creating beautiful handmade pieces for those she loved. She also enjoyed playing the domino game "42," often sharing laughter and friendly competition with family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Oscar Lenard Ames, Sr., her parents Rex and Lula Kimbrough; her daughter, Kim Greenlee Norton; her sister, Shari Lyn Herschberger.

Norma is survived by her daughters, Susan (Greenlee) Reber, and Sherry (Greenlee) Wetzel and husband Larry; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, March 13, 2026, at Stumpff Funeral Home, with Rod Macilvaine officiating. Interment will follow at Dewey Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Animal Rescue Foundation (ARF) of Bartlesville.
