Ardis Jeanette (Johnson) Williams

Ardis Jeanette Williams passed away Saturday morning, November 11, 2017 in her home in Wagoner, Oklahoma, at the age of 81 years.  She was born May 17, 1936, in Osage City, Kansas to Edward Olaf and Nancy Fern (Austin) Johnson.

Ardis worked as an administrator assistant for V. A. Hospital for twenty years retiring in 1992.  While working, she attended night classes receiving her degree from Northeastern University.  Ardis was a member of the First United Methodist Church, the Believers Sunday School Class, SCAMPS, and the United Methodist Women.  When able, she enjoyed traveling.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her daughter, Linda Rose, her husband, Marvin Williams, her brothers, Dr. Lawrence Johnson, Norman Johnson and Gary Johnson and her sister, Christine Johnson.

Ardis is survived by her son, Ed James and wife, Jazzlyn, of Wagoner; long time best friend and companion, Bill Hathaway of Wagoner and his children, Debbie Dugan of Beggs, Mark Hathaway of Sapulpa, Kirk Hathaway and wife, Teri, of Muskogee and Nancy Sherwood and husband, Bryan, of Sapulpa; one brother, Glenn Johnson of Emporia, Kansas; three sisters, Shirley Parks and husband, Lawrence, of Miller, Kansas, Marilyn Miller of Rockwall, Texas and Berenice Tredway and husband, Larry, of Galva, Kansas; sister-in-law, Patricia Johnson  of New Ulm, Minnesota and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends
