Jessie Maye Lamb passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, April 21, 2015, at the age of 81.

Jessie was born to Alta Syble Syzemore and William Bryant Wright on November 11, 1933 in Tahlequah, OK. Jessie lived a life most people dream of, a life full of love. She lived for her family and loved them all unconditionally. Jessie was passionate about what she believed in and didn't hold back. If you picked on her family, you got to see her firecracker personality. Known for her never-ending love and her orneriness, Jessie touched the lives of all those that met her and will be greatly missed. We can find solace in knowing that she is home. She loved until her last breath. A world without Jessie Maye Lamb sounds unbearable, but she would want us all to keep her legacy going and to find peace and happiness until we all meet again.

Jessie was preceded in death by parents, Alta and W.B. Wright; maternal and paternal grandparents; sisters, Mary Wright, Flora Wright, and Delphia Overcash; brother, Franklin Wright; and daughter, Janet Gail Cook.

Jessie is survived by her children, Pamela Wells and Steven Lamb; brothers, Ollie Wright, J.W. Wright, Clarence Wright, Hank Wright; sister, Vera Poplin; grandchildren, Brett Lamb, Tami Dalton, Stefanie Kirk, Cortney Hunt, Jessica Baustert, Scott Lamb, Robyn Hux, Morgan White; great-grandchildren, Taylor Dalton, Allyson Baustert, Lilly Lamb, Breahnna Hux, Brandon Dalton, Danica Hux, Grayson Lamb, Coby Mercer, Will Mercer, Kierra Kirk, Kylina Kirk; and many others.

Funeral Services will be held at the Assembly of God Church located at 119 S. Main St., Jennings, OK 74038 on Thursday, April 23, 2015 at 10:30 am. Lunch will be served.
