Oologah

Janet Lee Miller, 90, of Oologah, Oklahoma, passed from this life on Monday, February 2, 2026, at Journey Home in Bartlesville, Oklahoma, where she had been in hospice care and surrounded by her loved ones.

She was born February 26, 1935, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to Albert "Rusty" Strader and Ora Mae (Ross) Strader. Jan, as she was known to many, sold real estate for many years and lived a life deeply rooted in community involvement and service to the community of Oologah.

Jan was elected to serve as Oologah Town Clerk and also served for a time on the Oologah Town Board. She was very active in the Oologah Chamber of Commerce for many years and faithfully served her church at the time, Collinsville Community Church, where she sat on the church board and participated in numerous committees over the years. Beyond her dedication to community service, Jan was a very devoted mother, grandmother and cherished friend to the Oologah community.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters; and her husband, Charles Miller.

She is survived by her son, Ross Page (Leslie) of Claremore, two daughters Deborah Penner and Terri White (Bryan) both of Oologah; a nephew, Brian Wretschko of Phoenix, Arizona; along with grandchildren: Sydney Page, Shannon Penner, Melissa Penner, Matt Penner (Jessica), Ryan White (Lovey), Jennifer Thomas (Kye), Patrick White (Cassie), and Ryan Nicks. She is also survived by great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren; and great- niece and great-nephew.

Her family will remember her for her humor, kindness, resilience, and her ability to listen and offer thoughtful advice. While her presence will be deeply missed, the love she shared and the memories she created with all will continue to live on.

Services honoring Jan's life will begin with visitation at Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home on Thursday, February 5, 2026, from noon to 8:00 p.m., with family greeting visitors from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Interment will take place at Rose Hill Cemetery in Tulsa at 10:00 a.m., Friday, February 6, 2026. A luncheon for family and friends will follow at Oologah United Methodist Church beginning at 11:30 a.m. with a memorial service at 1:00 p.m. in the church chapel officiated by Rick Brinkley and Shannon Rodenberg.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Jan's memory to The Journey Home, 900 Washington Blvd., Bartlesville, OK 74006.
