Sherry Ann Lyons
June 18, 1946 - December 23, 2025
Sherry Ann Lyons went home to Jesus on December 23, 2025 at 1:20PM, at the age of 79. A celebration of her life will be held on Tuesday, December 30, 2025 at 2 p.m. in Tulsa at Rose Hill Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Trout Funeral Home of Perry, 1408 N 7th St, Perry, OK 73077.
Sherry was born to Thurman William Ellis and Etta Ellis (Dunn) on June 18, 1946, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Sherry enjoyed being a nurse for many years. She retired from OSU and Walmart in 2009.
She is survived by her children; Johnny Lyons JR., and wife, Nicki, of Perry, Oklahoma; and Brandie Johnson , and husband, Joe, of Stillwater, Oklahoma.Sherry loved her granddaughters, Hannah and Haley Cardin more than anything. Sherry is also survived by her twin brother, Gary Ellis, and wife Glenda, of Wagoner, Oklahoma. Sherry also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews.
Sherry loved Elvis Presley, and John Wayne. Her favorite shows to watch were NCIS, Law & Order, and anything to do with John Wayne, Chuck Norris, and all westerns.
