Dorothy "Gail" Rogers passed away on Tuesday, December 9, 2025, in Tulsa, OK. Gail was born on March 12, 1952, in San Antonio, TX. Gail moved to Arkansas at a young age and graduated from Springdale, Arkansas.
Gail was an active mother with her children. Gail was a Campfire Leader, involved with Cub Scouts and Assistant Soccer Coach.
Gail served as Vice Mayor and City Commissioner for Collinsville. During her term Gail served on the Senior Citizens Board. Gail drove a school bus for Collinsville for many years. Gail enjoyed children. Gail had a daycare in her home and later worked as a director. She obtained her Early Childhood Education and was a teacher at a daycare in Collinsville.
Gail worked with high school students from Union and Broken Arrow with disabilities, teaching them work skills.
Gail worked with Senior Citizens that live in assisted living as a Home Care Assistant. Gail enjoyed helping others.
Gail is preceded in death by her husband Jimmy Rogers, mother and father Lorene and Ed Langbein. Brothers, Jerry and Eddie Langbein and sister Kathy Bailey.
Gail is survived by her children, Lonnie Shackelford and wife Jennifer, Rebecca Ventris and husband Rance, Rhonda Limbocker and husband Jason, and Jody Rogers and wife Whitney from Louisville, KY. Grandchildren, Brad Williamson, Brittany Ventris, Chance Danderson, Lexa Paige, Jenna Limbocker, Dylan Weabe, Zoe Shackelford, Grant, Clayton and Bennett Rogers. Great Granddaughter, Kiara Melanie Camargo Ventris. One sister, Lynette Shackelford of Springdale, AR.
Visitation for Gail will be Sunday, December 14, 2025, from 1:30 pm - 6:00pm at Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home.
A graveside service will be 2:00 pm, Monday December 15, 2025, at Ridgelawn Cemetery in Collinsville with Pastor Jolie Blankenship officiating.
