Betty Jo Hipp of Oologah, passed away on Friday, December 8 in Tulsa. She was 65. Betty was born on January 27, 1952 in Marble City, OK to Joe Lee and Narcie Jennie (Bush) Bolin.

Visitation for Betty will be held on Wednesday, December 13, 2017 from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, December 14, 2017 at Journey Church (14086 US-169, Oologah, OK 74053) with Rev. John Scott officiating. Interment will follow at Ridgelawn Cemetery in Collinsville.

Betty worked as an assembler at Frank W. Murphy Manufacturing until her retirement. She married Leslie Hipp on August 13, 1982 and they were married until his passing in 2014. She was known as a talented seamstress and loved to sew. Betty also enjoyed knitting, crocheting and was a wonderful cook.

Betty is survived by her sons, Patrick, Keith, and Heath Hipp; her stepsons, Monte Hipp and wife Kathy, Tony Hipp and wife Norma, and Audie Hipp; her siblings, Jennie Noisey, Juanita Ridenhour, Lois Fuller, Carol Brewer, Larry Bolin, and John Bolin; 9 grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews, family and friends.

Her parents, her husband, and her siblings, Joe, Wadie, Floyd and Louise, preceded Betty in death.
