Joseph Milton Doescher, 99 of Collinsville, OK passed away Saturday, May 28, 2016 in Collinsville, OK. He was born March 23, 1917 in Platteville, WI to Rudolf Doescher and the former Eva Ward.

Visitation will be 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Thursday, June 2, 2016 and 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday, June 3, 2016 at the Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home

Funeral Services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, June 4, 2016 at the Community Church with Rev/Pastor Thomas D. Schwartz officiating. Interment will follow at the Ridgelawn Cemetery.

Mr. Doescher began working in the aeronautics industry in California in the 40’s. After moving to Texas for a few years, he brought his family to Collinsville in 1963. He retired from Rockwell International in 1987.

He is survived by 2 children: Cheryl Moore and her husband Max of Jenks and Starla Doescher of Norman, OK. 2 Grandchildren: Kari Bigelow and her husband Alan of Tulsa and Kelly Moore of El Cerrito, CA. He is also survived by 1 great-grandchild: Connor Bigelow of Tulsa.

He was preceded in death by his wife Erma in 1990.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Sue Brewer whose devoted care allowed him to remain in his home.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the charity of your choice.

Services are under the direction of Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home.
