Funeral services for Nelda Fay (Springer) Coulson, 68, of Sperry, were held Tuesday, December 1, 2015 at Osage Oaks Church of God in Sperry, OK. Reverend Jerry Harper officiated and burial was in Ridgelawn Cemetery in Collinsville, OK.

Casket bearers were James Dalton, Michael Smith, James Stacy, Shawn Oates, Kyle Jones, Doug Smith, Shawn Wood and Alex Banning. Honorary casket bearers were Brandon Snow, Austin Coulson, Wesley Wolfe, Andrew Coulson, Daniel Hammontree, Aiden Dalton and Nathan Wood.

Nelda was born October 6, 1947 in Claremore, OK to Lester Springer and Nelda Collene (Dick) McKnight. She passed away November 23, 2015 in Sperry, OK.
 

Nelda was a secretary at Lester’s Gear and Parts, and was the owner of Golfers. She loved cooking, playing cards, going to the lake, and especially loved family holidays.


She is survived by her daughters, Sheral Dalton of Tulsa, Saundra Francisco of Tulsa, and Jennifer Coulson-Smith and husband Michael of Sperry; daughter-in-law, Nesha Coulson; grandchildren, James Dalton, Andrew Coulson, Kasey Apple, Naomi Oates, Sarah Oates, Shawn Oates, Shanna Coulson, Austin Coulson, Zoey Coulson and Gabby King; great-grandchildren, Arian Dalton, Aiden Dalton, Kiley Gattis, Brittney Makinson, Jamie Kinser, Payton Kinser, Erica Turley, Lauren Oates and Nathan Oates; brother, Mike McKnight of Foyil; sisters-in-law, Wanda McKnight and Juanita Springer; father, Lester Springer of Collinsville; and many other relatives and friends.
 
She was preceded in death by her mother, Nelda McKnight; husband, David Coulson; son, Presley Coulson; brother, Jerry Springer; and numerous aunts and uncles.
