James Clarence Tittsworth Obits

James Clarence Titsworth died 4 Oct 1984, after a long illness. He was a native of Oklahoma, born 27 June 1906 in Muskogee, Indian Territory Oklahoma and lived most of his life in Tulsa. He was the eldest son of 8 children of James Alfred Titsworth and Myrtle Eletha Sparks Titsworth. He married Artie (Ruby) M. Sinor on 6 Oct 1930 in Tulsa, they had three children, Marian, James Phillip and Robert Dean. They were divorced and he married Gladys Mae Thomas, a life time resident of Tulsa in Sept 15, 1947 in Sebastian Co., Little Rock, Arkansas.
There were no children from that marriage.
He was survived by his wife, Gladys Thomas Titsworth, Tulsa, daughter, Marian Dingman of Yuma, Az. sons, Jim of Tulsa and Robert, of San Diego, Ca. sisters, Effie Wickett of Oakland, Ca., Dollie Nixon of Pleasanton, Texas, brothers, Charlie of Lamont, Ca., Leroy of Brownsville, Texas, and Cleetis of Arvin, Ca. Preceded in death by a brother, James Deward of Austin, Texas and his parents.
Clarence was buried Oct. 8, 1984 in Memorial Park Cemetery lot 4 grave 3, Tulsa, Okla.
