Jimmy Ray "Jim" Ramsey
April 26, 1949 - November 13, 2024

Jim Ramsey, age 75, of Conyers, Georgia, died November 13, 2024 in Conyers, GA. Jim was a proud Oklahoman, born and raised, until life brought him to Georgia. He was an active member of his community, serving as President of the Lions Club of Mannford, Oklahoma, in 1982. Jim's sense of service extended to his faith, where he was a long time member of the Presbyterian Church of the Resurrection in Conyers. With his wife, Sandra, he devoted countless hours of his time and skill to the Food Pantry Ministry of the church, and in 2018, was recipient of The Citizen Involvement Award for his contributions. He dedicated 30 years of his life to PPG Industries, where he worked in sales before his retirement. A devoted husband, father and friend, Jim was a passionate hobbyist, taking great pleasure in woodworking, hunting and fishing.

Survivors include his beloved wife of 53 years, Sandra Ramsey; sons and daughters-in law, John Wayne & Orenda Ramsey, David Cleveland & April Ramsey; grandchildren, Zachary Cleveland Ramsey, Colbie June Ramsey, John Luke Ramsey, Gabriel Michael Ramsey, Miranda Ashley Ramsey; sister and brother-in-law, Ruth & Todd Barclay; brother and sister-in-law, Billy Bob & Joanna Ramsey; many nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Floyd David Ramsey & Cecilia June Cleveland Ramsey, as well as his siblings, Dempsey Ramsey, Mark Ramsey and Mary Bates.
