My little Sister

Lonnetta Sue (Smith) Pitts was born on July 31, 1949 in Tulsa, OK to Lonnie Debbs Smith and Phelma Jaquetta (Mills) Smith.  Sue, as she was affectionately known, passed from this life, at the age of 68, on Tuesday, October 24, 2017 in Olathe, KS.
(Her name being the "Lonn" from Dad's first name & "etta" from Mom's middle name)

She graduated from Locust Grove High School.

Sue was preceded in death by her Mom & Dad.  She is being buried next to them.

She is survived by her husband, Larry O. Pitts, of Spring Hill, KS; children, Shirley Cox of Gardner, KS, Mike Pitts of Lawrence, KS and Russ Pitts of Wellsville, KS; a sister, Alta Irene (Smith) Harris of Sillisaw, OK;  brothers, Larry Dale Smith of Peggs, OK and Jeff  & Regina Smith of Canton, OH; 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Lots of nieces & nephews.

She loved her flowers and goldfish pond. Was amazing with a crochet needle. Collected stamps and porcelain dolls for years. Always enjoyed a peaceful walk with the dogs.
In her final years she embraced life. Visiting with friends, going to a few ball games to watch her grandchildren and making a point to find the perfect cake for birthdays in her final months. She loved and was loved in return.

She is being buried in Section 14A, Lot 48, Space 1 in Memorial Park Cemetery, Tulsa, OK.
