Funeral services for Loretta June (Aery) May, 78, of Claremore, OK, were held Saturday, September 6, 2025, at Real Church in Tulsa, OK. Apostle Scott C. Lovett officiated, and burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery in Tulsa, OK. Casket bearers were Sam May, Michael Senf, Brandon Senf, and Jon Caldwell. Honorary Casket bearers were Brent Caldwell, A.J. Caldwell, Nikkia Pigeon, and Jeremiah Hathaway.

Loretta was born August 31, 1946, in Tulsa, OK, to Thomas Jackson Aery and Mary Jane (McClure) Aery. She passed away August 28, 2025, in Claremore, OK.

Loretta grew up in the Tulsa area and attended McLain High School graduating in 1964. Some of her greatest moments in life were spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, spending time with her friends and church family, and being involved in the prison ministry.

She is survived by her children, Carrie Hathaway and husband Fenton of Sharon, OK, Everett Brent Caldwell Jr, of Claremore, Clinton Thomas Calwell of Tulsa, and Laurrie Ann May of Tulsa; 16 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild; and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Everett Brent Caldwell, Sr. and David Venon May; parents, Thomas and Mary Aery; and sister, Carolyn Goss.

Arrangements and services were entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home, Sperry.
