Graveside Services for Phyllis Jean Burns, 62, of Owasso, were held Monday June 1, 2009 at Memorial Park Cemetery in Tulsa, OK. The Reverend Todd Nelson officiated. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home, Sperry.

Phyllis was born November 29, 1946 in Tulsa, OK to Walter and Elba (Cates) Mozingo. She passed away May 27, 2009 in Tulsa, OK.

She was employed at Wal-Mart as a bookkeeper for over 10 years. Her hobbies included playing computer games, painting Christmas scenes, crocheting and other crafts. As part of her ministry to others, she sent out cards of encouragement.

She is survived by her husband, Don Burns; sister, Norma Cassidy; brothers, Don Lee Mozingo, and Everett Ray Mozingo; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews; and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her children, Nicole Barnett and Lloy Barnett, Jr.
