Funeral services for Mae Elizabeth (Crouch) Downs, 83, of Tulsa, OK, were held Monday, January 19, 2026, at Johnson Funeral Chapel in Sperry, OK. Rich Manganaro officiated and burial was in Hillside Mission Cemetery in Skiatook, OK. Casket bearers were Sean Ethridge, Matt Manganaro, Chris Ethridge, Gavin Burke, Alvin Troxell, and Braden Burke.
Mae was born on January 10, 1943, in Turney, MO, to Delbert Stekman Crouch and Winifred Francis Crouch. She passed away on January 11, 2026, in Tulsa, OK.
Mae was a "Jane of all trades". She enjoyed baking, sewing, crocheting, volunteering her time with different organizations, New Year's festivities, and spoiling her grandchildren. She also enjoyed travelling from time to time but loved being on her farm. For the last 20 years of Mae's life, she devoted her life to the Lord, and served as a teacher in the children's church, and assisted with the cleaning and upkeep of the church.
She is survived by her children, Elana Ethridge, William Ethridge, and Chris Ethridge; grandchildren, Jason Ethridge, Justin Ethridge, Kayla Prince, Shandre Manganaro, Sean Ethridge, Morgan Burke, and Mary Burke; brothers, Richard Crouch and Charles Crouch; numerous great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by Bill Downs; parents, Delbert and Francis Crouch; and nephew, Mikko Crouch.
Arrangements and services were entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home, Sperry.
