Clayton Owen Catlett
November 29, 1986 - July 21, 2026
Clayton Owen Catlett, 39, of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, passed away on July 19, 2026, at his home. Clayton was born on November 29, 1986, at the Indian Clinic in Claremore, Oklahoma, to Daniel Catlett and Monika Branstetter.
He attended Caney High School before continuing his education at Thunderbird, where he studied drafting, blueprinting, and computer coding, earning several certifications through his coursework. Clayton had a naturally curious mind and enjoyed learning how things worked. Those who knew Clayton will remember his love of taking things apart just to see how they worked. He was happiest spending time with his friends and family and treasured the many memories and milestones they shared together throughout his life.
Clayton is survived by his beloved older sister, Sara Gorby, with whom he shared a close bond from childhood, as well as his brother Nathan Catlett. He is also survived by his parents, Monika Branstetter and Daniel Catlett, and by his daughter, Ember Grace.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Mary Catlett and Claty John Catlett, with whom he will be laid to rest, his cousin, Michael Catlett; his aunt, Jackie; his uncle, John Catlett; his uncle, Mike Catlett and Albert Catlett.
A graveside service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, August 7, 2026, at Hillside Cemetery in Skiatook, Oklahoma, under the direction of Stumpff Funeral Home.
Clayton will be remembered for his inquisitive spirit, his intelligence, and the love he had for those closest to him.
Though his time here was far too short, the memories he created and the lives he touched will remain in the hearts of those who loved him forever.
