Tulsa – The funeral for Wilson Arthur Russell, 68, who died Friday, August 23, 1985 in a Tulsa hospital, will be at 3 PM Monday in Moore Southlawn Chapel there.

Burial will be in Floral Haven Cemetery.

Russell was retired after 35 years with American Airlines. He also served with the United States Army Air Force, and was a member of the First Baptist Church at Tulsa.

Survivors include his wife, Vesta; a daughter, Mrs. Michael (Joanne) Goers, Euless, Texas; a son, William J. Russell, former pastor of Liberty Southern Baptist Church, Enid; three grandchildren; four sisters, Bessie Russell, Tulsa, Ethel Reinhardt, Bixby, Mary Loewen, Vera, and Dorothy Ressinger, Muskogee; four brothers, Walter, Carson City, Nevada, James Renton, Washington, John, Port Orchard, Washington, and Bob. Owasso.

Memorials in his name may be made to American Cancer Society or the Nursery Building Fund of the First Baptist Church in Tulsa.
