Bobbie Skiles Ripperger
May 1, 1930 - Jul 25, 2026

Bobbie Skiles Ripperger was born May 1, 1930, in Texarkana, AR, to Joseph Warner Skiles and Mary Myrtle (Henderson) Skiles. She passed away to be with our Heavenly Father on Saturday, July 25, 2026, in Tulsa, OK, at the age of 96.

Bobbie lived her life with determination, faith and family. When she was small, her family moved to Siloam Springs, AR, where she attended school and took piano lessons. Her father was a Deacon at the First Baptist Church, so she "attended church every time the door was open". She loved playing piano throughout her life and played especially well by ear rather than following sheet music. She graduated high school from Siloam Springs High School where she was elected President of her class. After graduation she attended John Brown University and majored in Business Administration. Later in life, she met Harold Ripperger and partnered with him in a dancing group at the Moose Lodge 308. They fell in love and married in 1989. The couple partnered up to own and run RIP Pest Control. Bobbie was in charge of the books and Harold managed the extermination business.

Bobbie was always involved in church's she attended. She attended Parkview Baptist Church many years and was known to support the ministry on Sunday morning and evening services and Wednesday evening services as well. Once again, she "attended church every time the door was open". She read the Bible daily and shared her love for Christ with our family and everyone she met.

Bobbie was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Skiles and Mary Skiles along with her step-mother, Robbie. She was preceded in death by her husband Harold Ripperger, a brother, Warner Skiles, sisters, Mary Jo Bogan, and Aileen Pease one grandchild, Blake Skiles Rogers.

She is survived by her children, L. Warren Rogers, Lindie Hopkins-Anger, Lisa Hymer and Lance Rogers. She has eight grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews who will miss her. She loved her family deeply and will be missed by all.

Visitation, Wednesday, July 29, 2026, 4PM-8PM

Funeral Services will be 11:00AM Thursday, July 30, 2026 Moore Southlawn Chapel
