Sharon Elaine Smith
March 2, 1936 - February 4, 2025

Sharon Elaine Smith of Oologah passed away on Tuesday, February 4, 2025, in Tulsa at the age of 88. Sharon was born on March 2, 1936, in Claremore, OK to Clinton Howell and Lucy Marie (Dikeman) Whisenhunt. She was a graduate of Oologah High School Class of '54. She married Segal Norman Smith and together they started their lives together.

Sharon made her career with Ernst and Young and was a supervisor in the reporting department before her retirement. She and Norman belonged to different square-dancing clubs throughout the years. Her hobbies included quilting, sewing, and cooking.

Sharon is survived by her husband Norman Smith of the home; 2 sons, Greg Smith and wife Keven, and Brad Smith and wife Charlene; 8 grandchildren, Lindsey Clark, Shelby Livingston, Josh Workman, Alex Workman, Johnathan Workman, Tara Miller, Tori Rondot, and Kahlen Rondot; 5 great grandchildren, August, Miles and Aubry Clark, Owen Lopez and Tallie Livingston. Sharon was preceded in death by her parents and brother Norman Whisenhunt.

Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 pm, Wednesday, February 12, 2025, at the First Baptist Church of Collinsville with Dr. Tim Prock officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Talala.
