Albert E. Heimsoth

February 17, 1910 ~ May 25, 1986 (aged 76)

Douglas – The funeral for Albert E. Heimsoth, 76, will be at 2 PM Wednesday in the Trinity Lutheran Church in Guymon. Burial will be in the Lutheran Cemetery, directed by Henson Funeral Home.

Local arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

Heimsoth died Sunday at his home after a long illness. He was born February 17, 1910, in Colecamp, Missouri, to William and Betty Heimsoth. He moved to Guymon in 1917, where he farmed most of his life. He married Giuhia Gaddy June 13, 1937. They moved to Douglas in 1985.

Survivors include his wife, Giuhia, of the home; three sons, Larry, Amarillo; Dennis, Guymon, and Emmett, Katy, Texas; a daughter, Lois Deckman, Douglas; three sisters, Helen Heimsoth and Alma Wright, both of Optima, and Leona Gerdsen, Canyon, Texas; 13 grandchildren, and a great-grandchild.
