Betty Jane Thompson

HOOKER, Okla. - Betty Jane Thompson, 73, died Friday, Dec. 20, 1996.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Robert Brothers Funeral Home with the Rev. Gary Wiens officiating. Burial will be in Hooker Cemetery.

Mrs. Thompson was born in Superior, Wis. She married Dale Thompson and they had lived in Hooker since 1945. She was a member of United Methodist Church. She had been an Avon representative for 10 years.

She was preceded in death by her husband in 1994.

Survivors include two sons, David Thompson of Hooker and Lynn D. Thompson of Liberal, Kan.; two daughters, Linda Sandoval of Guymon and Bonnie Powell of Hooker; three brothers, Harland Nelson of Bath, Mich., Grace Nelson of Las Vegas, Nev., and Jack Nelson of Eau Clair, Wis.; a sister, Shirley Callahan of Xenia, Ohio; 14 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

The family requests memorials be to Hooker Ambulance Association, c/o Roberts Brothers Funeral Home, Box 745, Hooker, Okla., 73945.
